Our Story

Feminist friends Samantha Jacobson and Jennifer Reres met at the young professionals group at The Ms. Foundation for Women. When faced with the bleak reality of Kavanaugh's appointment and its implications for reproductive rights, Sam and Jen transformed a bleak moment into an opportunity to take action. They founded advocacy group Our Repro Rights Community with several goals in mind:

1. To create a focus on reproductive rights in the resistance movement

2. To carve out time for collective action for feminists, who are both busy professionally and overwhelmed by the rapid, noisy news cycle

3. To advocate for people with limited access to quality reproductive health care

4. To create an inclusive feminist community where it’s safe to learn and grow
